John Wayne, born Marion Robert Morrison on 5.26.1907, was an American actor, producer as well as director. Wayne visited the combat areas through WW2. He was such a legend to the American Armed Forces that loads of combat veterans declared their inspiration in enrolling the military was motivated by his films.

Wayne was public regarding being a conservative Republican in his life. Wayne assistanceed the House of American Activities Committee as an anti-communist.
