Review of The Walking Dead

The plot of The Walking Dead starts with former Sheriff's deputy Rick Grimes waking up from a coma to find the world overrun by zombies and he is the lone survivor. When he arrives at his home trying to understand what has been going on for the months he had been unconscious, he finds an empty home and realizes that his wife and son have gone missing. This then kick starts his journey towards Atlanta in a desperate attempt to find his family, but instead of finding his family, he his welcomed by an army of zombies.

As he narrowly manages to avoid getting killed, he is rescued by a fellow survivor Glenn who leads him out to the outskirts of the city to a safety camp, where Rick is reunited with his family. As he is brought up to date about the entire situation of what happened during the time he was unconscious, he learns that he has to help his team to find a safe haven where they can be safe. During this journey, not only does Rick and his team fight off armies of "walker" and "biter" zombies, but also fellow teams of surviving humans who are competing for the limited resources available.
